Twas the night before the season began and tens of thousands of fans greeted the season like a child on Christmas day. Last Christmas, my Mom and Dad were poor and had lots of hospital bills to pay for. There was a divorce that year and a bad man left and the new Dad looked was nice and hugged me like a teddy bear. Dad got a new job and Mom has been with her job for a few years now. My only hope this Christmas was to get a nice present and have fun with it with my brothers. My brothers were very hopefully as well. We managed to find out where the presents were and started to shake them. They all looked big and made sounds of something thick and bulky. My brothers said things like:

All of this anticipation got me excited about what was to come. Could this be my new family and the beginning of one whole new year of fun? Little did I know what was in store for me...
Little did I know all I would get is one big lump of coal. As soon as I got the present, I started looking forward to my birthday thinking that the worse the present for Christmas the better for my birthday. However, in the back of my mind I was thinking I need a new Dad.... maybe a new mom too....
