Chiefs vs. Bucs: Finding one player who did well

Stay connected for news and updates

John Rieger-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Ryan Lilja had a good game against the Bucs.

Pro Football Focus had to focus on at least one positive part of the KC Chiefs play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and they chose center Ryan Lilja, who had a good day.

Ryan Lilja (+2.2) had to move from left guard to center in week 3 and hasn't just coped, he's excelled. Here he was perfect in pass protection, never gave up a penalty and did some solid work blocking for the run. He did have a few problems with Gary Gibson but generally more than survived. Watch the way he takes Roy Miller, who was lined up outside his left shoulder, and drives him all the way out of the "A" gap with 11:27 left in the second to create space for a Nick Eachus seven yard gain.

Hahahaha...the notable highlight from the day comes from the center. Of course it does.

I present to you the highlight of the Chiefs play from Sunday. (Yes, these are screen shots of a center blocking his man on a routine run.)
