Of course Romeo Crennel was asked whether it'd be Brady Quinn or Matt Cassel when the Kansas City Chiefs line up against the Oakland Raiders in Week 8.

Of course he didn't provide a clear answer (because he doesn't have).

"That's a hypothetical," Crennel said at Monday's press conference when asked if Cassel would start in Week 8 (audio via 810). "Matt has not been cleared to practice yet. When Matt is cleread to practice football then we'll evaluate and make that decision at that time."

So, we don't know yet. And we probably won't until the Chiefs line up to practice the week next week.

Crennel said, either way, he'll be the one who decides the starter.
