To those of you without children, or to those of you who do and disagree, may I please offer my humble opinion of what his decision has caused? To what degree this is experienced by other parents, I can only imagine.

My child is so loyal to his dad and our Chiefs, he endures daily harassment for even making it known he likes them. We talk about it a lot, and he is confident enough it doesn’t cause severe harm – but it still hurts when peers chastise you. Since this Winston drama, he’s to the point where he’s ready to tell them he doesn’t care about football (which isn’t true) just to shut them up.

It’s ridiculous. We’ve gone from irrelevant to laughing stocks. The entire reason?

Eric Winston chose to gripe about some fans cheering Cassel’s injury. My opinion on that is Matt has over 60 million reasons to not care. Either way, the man can speak for himself. Winston then delivered his scolding, directed at the entire stadium (he retracted afterwards, but if you’ve seen his body language in the original footage there is no question in my mind he meant what he said).

The reason he should have remained silent is because he proclaimed to the world what the vast majority already understand, while the man he was defending still says nothing. The organization released something from Hunt I for one find interesting:

A small few who may have cheered when Matt went down do not accurately represent the best fans in the National Football League. Period.

The point of this post is to say this: how can it be OK for a little kid to endure the heckles at school, a boy simply trying to demonstrate what REAL pride is about – yet our millionaire QB who can’t even speak for himself is out of bounds, brought to you by an unprofessional non-thinking dolt of a man who used his frustration for how bad his team sucks as an excuse to go off on classless fans who cheer injury.

Finally, you tell me who the gutless pussy here is. Unforgivable.
