Jeff Fisher to limit job options to Miami, St. Louis
Not a huge surprise, but interesting none-the-less.
Funny how people throw the "ego" label around constantly. Seems like a guy sitting back and dictating which jobs he will/won't take requires a certain level of "ego."

Kind of, but we would all do it if we had a bunch of employers looking to hire us
We’d look for the best situation, the best money, and what we wanted the most. Then we would narrow it down.
Insert witty yet thought provoking phrase here.
Think most of the teams looking at HC were looking at him in one way or another.

Hahaha!
I love how he’d rather go to teams where they can barely get fans into the stadium. The Edwards Jones Dome is like an empty cavern, and Miami is just sad. One wonders if he can’t take loud noises.
Screw him.
It is kinda funny, isn't it?
Miami and St Louis have both been pretty awful for some time now. The Chiefs look like the model of franchise success by comparison.
Good for him
Not taking no shit from any GM lol!Seeing he’s been a coach for many moons one can’t be mad at him. Personaly, I’d prefer he goes to MIA. Rg3 might remind him too much of Vince Young to trade up for him :)

we will never know
Pure speculation. If we offered him a deal, and he wanted to coach for a potential afc west powerhouse he would’ve signed with us. Again pure speculation..

If we're going to make opinions based on pure speculation...
Maybe Jeff Fisher was told that he’d have to keep RAC on his staff if he came to KC. Since he’s a raging racist and couldn’t fathom the idea of working with Crennel, he stormed out of the interview.
Seems comparable in terms of speculation. It would explain why Fisher hated Vince Young so much as well.
If thats your speculation
Great! Im not going to knock you, tho I feel like Im closer on the matter than you are. Just my speculations..

On the Fisher front...
I heard Nick Wright making a big assumption yesterday (or was it Wed?) that:
because Fisher is looking at Miami or St Louis and not considering KC after interviewing here combined with his stated interest in working with for an organization who’s “owner is committed to winning”…that means that Fisher could tell that Clark isn’t really interested in winning.
That’s a huge jump in logic and it totally overlooks the point that Fisher’s statement sets himself up as the judge of whether there is a commitment to winning. My question there would be – based on what criteria? Is it based on the org not being willing to meet Fisher’s terms?
Personally, I’m in the “not all that impressed with Fisher” camp. There won’t be any WorL tears for him showing his back to KC.
I'm dressin my voodoo doll in stripes every season...
