Trades in the top three were very improbable in the old CBA. That's not the case anymore. I believe there's a good chance the Vikings will trade this selection to a team desperate to land Robert Griffin. That could be the Redskins, who can send their 2012 and 2013 first-round selections to the Vikings. Miami and Seattle will also be interested. And I wouldn't count out the Browns, who may want to make sure they can land the consensus No. 2 quarterback prospect in this class.

1 first and picks for Palmer. Is RG worth two first round picks? I think so. I really think we’re capable at enough other positions to trade next years first and this years for him.
and i’d have no issues if trent richardson falls to us.
Jamaal Charles will be back next year, but the Chiefs have never been convinced that he can carry the load. That’s even a more unreasonable expectation in 2012 given that he’s coming off a torn ACL.
Trent Richardson is by far the top player available. He would give Kansas City the top one-two punch at running back in the NFL.
Charles and Richardson = #1 rushing offense in the NFL.
The views expressed by craig in calgary do not necessarily represent the views of all Canadians.
Unfortunately, that's not enough to win in the playoffs.
It may get you there (as we have seen), but once there, this team needs a good to great QB to prevent defensive shutdowns of one dimensional offenses.
Ancora imparo.
just run the wildcat on everyplay, QB problem solved,
10 OL in and run it up their ying yangs!

Everyone who think richardson is a possibility is an idiot.
unless chiefs think charles is done/career ending.. Which shouldn’t be the case. Chiefs will go either T, G, QB, DL, CB…
I Don't Think we are going to pick up
Richardson, but just because some people think that doesn’t make them an idiot. It just gives them a different opinion than yours.

i understand that
i just think that anyone who wants to pay two top 5 rushers in 3 years is stupid.. Anyone with a brain would say the same..
It’s about taking the best player available when it’s your turn to pick. Or you pick who you want, when it’s your turn, ala Tyson Jackson.
Not when you have a top 5 player
at the same position.. That right there is just protecting your checkbook. You think the vikings are going to select a rb in the first round just cause he’s the best player on the board? ((even if they were picking 15th and richardson was on the board))
No you address it later with someone that falls.. Chiefs will take best player available at a need.. T, G, QB.
Now if blackmon drops to us yes you take him cause there’s more than one on the field at a time and that’s insane value, idc if bowe does come back..
i think we trade out if blackmon is there…jc is and can be injury prone. having a young RB will push him esp withhow we play.
hopefully we’ll have bowe, breaston, baldwin, and mo. really no need for another WR TE in the second or third, maybe.
You can get a young RB to push/spell Charles later
You don’t need to spend a 1st round pick to find a good RB.
How Awesome would it be...
If Washington traded up to #3 and the Chiefs traded up to #2 to pick up RGIII? It would be that much sweeter getting him AND sticking it to ol rat face.
It's just my fantasy...
Even though he’s not a donkey anymore I’d like to see him continue to suffer….

Gus (Washington DC)
Which quarterback coming out of college is going to be this years Andy Dalton?
Mel Kiper (1:24 PM)
You could look at Nick Foles from Arizona, Tannehill. Those guys could be late first, early second. Those would be the two.
Pioli wouldn't draft RG3 even if he somehow fell to us
The talent is there, but he’s not 100% dedicated to football…he’s supposedly actually debated staying in school so he could begin law school. That kind of thinking is a huge red flag in Pioli’s mind.
Predictions:
I'm going to stop predicting positive things
