Possible OC?

Has anyone mentioned Brian Ferentz as the Chiefs new OC? He is currently the TE's coach for the Patriots. His father is Kirk Ferentz. He's only 29 though. Maybe he is who the Chiefs are waiting for. Maybe the plan is for him to be the HC in waiting. You know how much they say Pioli likes his father, Kirk. Just a thought. The TE's for the Patriots have been outstanding but I don't know how much credit he deserves for that.

He's extremely young, but I know he's considered a rising coaching star.

This is actually a highly interesting theory. There have also been some rumblings that he may be up for a position on his father’s Iowa staff. I don’t think this is a McDaniels situation where he won’t look so hot out of Belichick’s shadow. The Ferentz’s are a strong family. They are classy people. This guy has been about football and family since he could walk. Word is he can lead and communicate very well. Given a few more years to mature and perfect his Xs and Os, he’ll end up a head coach at the pro or major college level inside of a decade. It would be a surprising hire but quite possibly an excellent one.

Because the Gulfstream 5 has neither the airspeed nor the specs to adequately describe how fly I feel.
