I would think after the last season’s offensive debacle, the “brilliant offensive mind” tag would haveyou fallen off Haley’s hoodie. Can’t see an organization as solid as the Steelers looking at him to retool their running game of all things.

I really enjoyed Haley setting the bar to where it’s at after Herms debacle. I enjoyed how much he did for the KC community too. I hope he lands in a good spot.

Quite frankly,

the Herm era is really the only reason where we’re at right now as a team. Tamba, D-Bowe, Charles, Dorsey, Albert, Flowers, Carr all Herm era players. I liked Haley during his time as the coach but looking back on it I’m not so sure he did anything more to help us than hold us back. It’s not hard to see why nobody wanted to work with the guy. When it comes to football, he comes off as an asshole.

Then why do multiple, high profile players want to play for him? Kurt Warner, a three time SB QB comes running to give a locker room speech when Haley calls. Breaston came to K.C. because of Haley. Fitz credits Haley with his becoming a top flight WR. I can easily see Bowe going to Pittsburgh to play for Haley if Haley lands the OC job. Haley in his first year as HC here gave us a 100% improvement over the decline we got used to with Herm. He brought a hard assed attitude that this team needed after three years of Herm failure.

Hopefully not. There is a very small minority who want him because they think that Haley screaming abuse at Ben will somehow translate into the minor adjustments that the Rooneys would like Ben to make in his game. To me that is like hiring the Luftwaffe to do some reno work on your apartment in Warsaw in 1939.
