I would take Hightower in an instant

Although, is he a bit of a reach at 12? I thought I saw some mocks that had him falling closer to the 2nd round, but I might be wrong on that.

Thats a bigger reach then TJax was. This guy shouldn’t see the first round and honestly I don’t think he’s a second round talent either unless its very late in the second. This would be a classic reach for need which isn’t really even a very big need because we don’t know what Siler can do as a starter.

Even if we were to pick an ILB up that early

I would take Upshaw or Ingram at 11/12 to play ILB before I would take Hightower.

Looking at the rest of this mock this guy has alot of head scratchers.

Biggest being three CBs not named Dre Kirkpatrick on his board.

Inside LB is so far down our need list that if we take one in the first I will be pissed

Jovan played well this year. He still has a lot to work on but he keeps improving. Siler is also back next year and could be an improvement. If we take ILB over NT, RT, G, QB, WR if Bowe leaves, then I will find Pioli and puke on his shoes.

Guard is pretty far down the list too in Pioli's mind I think

But I agree about the other positions. I don’t think there’s a NT worth looking at in the first but RT and QB jumps off the page as does CB or WR if Bowe and/or Carr aren’t resigned.
