Mike Adams
Watching the senior bowl from this week,I watched him go 1 on 1 with Vinnie Curry. First he had a false start and after that he got destroyed.(same series) My first thought was HOLY CRAP its Barry Richardson. And to further extend my concern saw where a buckeye fan on the draft board complaining how he would easily lose focus, got pushed around alot...etc!
Most times I would rather give a young guy a chance at proving me wrong and getting rid of the guy that has provin to be a "FAT GLOB WASTE OF SPACE" (My frequent line on BR) But at this point I would be disappointed to see him drafted in the first. But hey thats why the HEAD HANCHOS get paid millions because they know better than I do!!

Zerbie Sanders beasting against anyone who dares to line up across him
There are no stupid questions just stupid people
Half of the commenters have been down on Sanders, today.
It looked to me like he did his assignments.
Weird how people are gushing over Adams and panning Sanders and then we get this fanpost.
would of ≠ would've
Steve, done and done

Eh good natural pass rusher, leaves a lot to be desired in contain/run defense IMO

Did like when he broke out the Marshall uni in the Sr Bowl practices haha
I’m not sure if he is a 3-4 OLB, or 4-3 DE. Do believe he will start out as a part time pure rusher though

I don't get NFLN : ( If Houston didn't come on like he did, I'd love to take a chance on Curry
/no skitzo
Still don't think he would be on Pioli's radar until later rounds
Not what we need out of an SOLB

I really want to like Guy, so maybe I'm biased
I know this comparison is not going to be liked by many but he reminded me a lot of Berry with the way he can attack the line and his closing speed. Didn’t seem as comfortable sitting deep, which is something I looked for in Safety prospects, due to hopefully having Berry back 100% and needing another cover safety.

LOL...yea I'm biased as well...
………I watched a bunch of Kentucky’s games. Just for the defense because the offense was pathetic. He and Trevathan were complete stand outs. Here is a really funny/good article on Trevathan;
http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/2010/danny-trevathan-kentucky-wildcats-leviathan/
I only wish there way a way to combine these two. But I think Crennel could make either of them work. At the very least if they drop far enough awesome depth and STers.
/no skitzo
That was a good read haha
Guy would make a good STer and could push for that 3rd Safety spot IMO, but does need some work.. as do all later round guys

Adams is playing excellently and is a main reason the North squad is winning
Yes, speed rush like with Curry gives him issues but thats why hes a RT in the NFL.
Me and Matt Cassel just - you up, dog!
"And to further extend my concern saw where a buckeye fan on the draft board complaining how he would easily lose focus, got pushed around alot...etc!"
This is the exact opposite of what I observed in all of the actual games I watched him in this season.
Mabe its my hate for OHIO State
And I’m looking for reasons to find fault! I know Curry is really good so I was curious to see how he would measure up…I was very disappointed! However i do agree he played well all year! That one play just really turned me off on Adams! JMO

It sure does seem like you could do something on D in the 1st and just take the best OL (whatever flavor) in the 2nd round
and do quite a lot of good.
I’m not sure how championship-related it would be to get into Decastro-Konz territory, but god how I lust after at least ONE OL considered dominant at his position. Love to be the team sending at least ONE OL to Hawaii in late January.
I have a feeling there’s going to be a feeding frenzy on all these very good OL prospects in the 2nd round – guys that everyone expects to be able to wait on, but maybe can’t.
It’s frustrating, for me, because there should’ve been a 1st-, 2nd- and/or 3rd-round pick in each of the three previous drafts, and we’ve seen a 3rd in 2010 and a 2nd in 20011, putting us at least one pick behind where we should be, and nothing higher than a 5th spent on OT, where 2008, 2009, 2010 game film argue for hitting the 1st three rounds at OT, in particular, to raise the level of competition in that group. While I have no problem with those 5th-round OT picks, they need to come AFTER you’ve secured the services of a pair of decent starters.
While I believe in starting with the trenches, I think your early and extra efforts need to be the guys on the outside. Great outside and good inside looks great. If you’re losing a 1-on-1 anywhere, the D can gang up on you for the overrun. And the easiest way to make a 1-on-1 tell is outside, where it’s the hardest to hold UP, 1-on-1, because of greater freedom of movement (space) for the defender (edge rusher) to use against you. That’s why elite talent is more critical at BOTH OT spots (and frankly, I don’t make the left-and-right distinction that others do).
Sure, it’s traditional to have your best pass pro’ guy on the left side, but latterday offenses aren’t hidebound about which side the TE lines up on. In today’s yesterday’s Senior Bowl, I think I saw more strongside-left than right, and not just for the southpaw. And there are more and more teams sticking equally potent pass rushers on the strong side – Suggs, Houston, Mathis, so it’s not exactly new, but it’s not exactly going away, Matthews, …
Teams with just one dominant pass rusher will often just go pick on the weakest of the two tackles, without regard to which side they’re playing on. To me, it’s just about having great tackles, to the point of overkill and people whispering in alleys about overkill.
would of ≠ would've
We should probably just take the best tackle available in the 1st and be done with it then

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
One 1000-word hmills comment > 10,000 one liners
IMHO
If it wasn’t for the accursed paycheck, would I really imprison myself in this dungeon of the human soul?
