Bettin on the Come!!
Seeing is believing!!! Kyle Orton had that miracle game against GB, but after that I was unimpressed. That game did show how close this offense is to being special. There, I said it out loud. Regardless of who is the OC. With Matt Cassel or not. Regardless if Bowe shows or not. Does anybody else not see that? We fix this line and it is going to free up the WR's and allow them a little extra time to separate. Jamaal comes back strong, or close to what he was before. Throw in a Defense that is pretty good and we will be dangerous.
So Stand Tall, the Chief's are on the rise. That's what my eyes are seeing. All this negative crap, that to this date is nothing more than HOT AIR. This team is much closer than you think. So quit your bitchin, things are lookin up in the Kingdom. We lost (3), that's right three, starting playmakers early in the season and were in it until that last game. That's right, we were that close. So, yeah, if I was still in Vegas I'd bet on the come that they win the West this upcoming season. HOT DAMN I'm excited about his team! Go Chief's!

I applaud your postitive outlook and enthusiasm...
and agree with everything except “Regardless of who is the OC”. The wrong OC could screw up any positive direction and motivation that has been built. A good OC will get us to the playoffs and an excellent OC will take us to the big game with some key personnel additions – O line.
A poor OC will prevent us from even getting to the playoffs by not developing and using the weapons we have effectively. You can have the best weapons in the NFL, but if you use them incorrectly, you will be defeated every time. Most teams are fairly evenly matched – personnel wise. The major difference is the scheming and coaching.
Otherwise……AMEN and GO CHIEFS!!!!!
OK, I understand the OC situation but think Rome knows what he wants done with it and whoever he brings in
will do as he suggests. Romeo has to know offenses to coach against them, along with that-he knows this team, so has an understanding of what he wants to do with our present personnel.
I agree with your enthusiam, but I disagree with the part about Cassel
Orton, please … please please please Orton instead of Cassel

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
the difference between Cassel and Orton
Orton has an arm, he doesn’t have to throw jump balls if his receiver is more than 15 yards downfield.
Orton looked good against one team....Green Bay
Green Bay secondary was a$$ last year. Vs. Oakland he had a pair of picks (one in the end-zone). The only touchdown Vs. Denver was on the ground.
Overall Cassel has better stats….is under contact, and has more time played with our guys.
Cassel will be the Chiefs QB to start the 2012 season…if we address the O-Line in this years draft, and they are showing the ‘gel’ well, then I see our REAL QBOTF, Ricki Stanzi starting sometime mid 2012.
if they get DeCastro and a 2nd Round RT ... they could start Stanzi Game One for all I care and we should win the AFC West if he's anything better than Palko
injuries notwithstanding, and Bowe/Carr/etc return

hi, Mo! 5 minutes!!!
Agree we are so close
let’s get a good OC and keep him around for a few years, solid 2012 draft and maybe a new QB in 2013 and viola!

My point exactly -
My intention was not to be critical of you..
Which is, there seems to be a double standard among some here to quickly point out that if FanPosts by a ‘newbie’ didn’t contain facts and figures there is a rush to judgement that discourages these guys and you never here from them again.. Which it’s unfortunate.
Trust me, if I was a moderator – I would absolutely advocate for more posts like yours.. unbridled enthusiasm, but yet meeting the guideline threshold!
I would actually love it of you submitted a similar FanPost every day.. So dude, in classic Wayne’s World vernacular – party on!

OK. I played a lot of craps in Atlantic City in my time.
I know exactly what a come bet is, but I don’t understand the sentiment of this:
So, yeah, if I was still in Vegas I’d bet on the come that they win the West this upcoming season.
If it wasn’t for the accursed paycheck, would I really imprison myself in this dungeon of the human soul?
