Why on earth would we not look at Marc Trestman for OC???
This dude is wildly successful where ever he goes!!! I hope he was at THE VERY LEAST given an interview, but I guess as long as the blinds are drawn, we'll never know. Signing off for now, feeling like "someone" is monitoring my post and I'm not supposed to be online while at work...over and out

Wow! What a resume
This guy has got some great credentials. I wouldn’t mind seeing this guy as OC at all. He has been a coach for an extremely long time and is getting quite old. But he does still seem to have it. If he can give himself for a 5 year contract I say get it done. Good coaches are hard to come by. I would say the only thing holding this guy back is his age, but look at PITT… their DC is older than dirt, literally.
That's what I was thinking when I saw the wiki page
Heck, looking through his resume I figured he was 82, guy has been everywhere. I was half expecting to see him as the OC for a rugby club in there somewhere.
Insert witty yet thought provoking phrase here.
Worth a look
plus he’s coached Cambell, who I think is an available FA.
Never argue with an Idiot...... they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
sometimes I wonder how they would do that chalk outline, if you pushed someone into a tree chipper.
that's not the world's best reason to hire someone as an OC

I've liked Trestman for awhile now
IIRC, he was big in the West Coast offense and worked with Bill Walsh, George Seifert, Mike Shanahan, Mike Holmgren, etc.

After reading that resume, I'm in!
I don’t mean to be a turd in the punch-bowl. But do you honestly believe Pioli would bring him in?
