Damn.
Nicknames I have coined:
Jamaal Charles = 'Haley's Comet'
Shaun Smith = 'Big Nasty'
Kelly Gregg = 'Old Gregg'

That’s the exact same thing I was thinking when I saw that.
*When we blitz, have the LB's do a KC Strip. Do this in remembrance of DT.
*Dear David Glass, as a lifelong Royals fan, I beg you to please sell the team. You have always been the problem; you will never be the solution.
It's at least the obvious connection.
Although the Chiefs could offer more money, offer him a sooner shot at head coaching and give him more control over the offense.

True enough.
If I’m him though I think I’d rather cash in and get out before the paper dynasty of McCathy, that is being propped up by Aaron Rogers, comes crashing back down to reality and picking up GB coaches and execs becomes less of a trendy thing to do. Not that he isn’t a good coach in his own rights but now is the time to cash in if your chips if you’re Clements.

I don't see the Packers crashing anytime soon.
And Clements has already been getting HC interviews, even as just QB coach.
That's what I'm saying. The market for his services is probably at it's peak right now.
Lets say Rodgers goes down next year and misses 10+ games and no Flynn there to back him up. How well do the Packers do with that defense?

Packers for sure.
I agree it’s definitely the safe and maybe better short term decision. But contracts are what? 4-5 years? And right now, this offseason, is likely his best chance to earn top dollar and go for his ideal job. The Packers are definitely more successful right now but I think his potential contract and the potential of that Packer team has peaked.

Was he under contract with GB next season?
I'm so overrated, I'm underrated.

His contract ends when the next year begins.
Either way though the Packers would be forced to give him a new contract whether they wanted him to stay on as QBC or move to OC.

Difference is.
They’d have to allow other teams permission to talk to him, if he’s not under contract beyond the current NFL season. Teams don’t have to wait for coaches to become free agents, in that case.
That sucks

That article is doing nothing other than taking someones words and making an assumption based on them. Nothing is certain.
