Deadspin: The Kansas City Chiefs Might Have The Worst Workplace In America
Kent Babb's article make the national media rounds. It will be interesting to see how this is received and digested by other media outlets. Bill Williamson over at ESPN more or less dismissed it. A place like Deadspin will certainly relish in the deconstruction of sports figure personas...but could also be useful if they deconstruct the local sports narrative the same way they do ESPN's. Fascinating to say the least.

This is so dumb!
Why does our media subject us to this bs?

The worst workplace in America?
Really, that is the title that they went with…
Does that title even need to be dissected with specific arguments to counter it? It is so heavy on bullshit that it shouldn’t even be given any credibility.

He's just trying to sell a story to sell newspapers...
Wait? They still make newspapers?

I understand that, I just think it was self serving...
which is fine, but this isn’t what this team should be focusing on right now. The star is dead, even this nonsense isn’t going to save it, but it does successfully give negative publicity to a team that I spend a lot of my own personal time on hoping they improve.
In that sense, it is bullshit and I hope it doesn’t negatively impact these upcoming hires and I wish he would have thought about that for five seconds.

I question the timing as well
right when we’re in the thick of trying to hire new assistants and season ticket renewals are due on the 17th.
