he should have stayed
Though, he did get a petty good contract from them

Perhaps Pioli
kept an eye on players in the extended off-season that were remaining professional and keeping in shape. You have a “big-bellied & loudmouth” DE competing with your #3 overall pick .Do the math

He's no J.J. Watt (#11)
I highly doubt Jackson will ever live up to his draft status

watt is good
But, I don’t really care about “living up to draft status”. As long as he’s helping the team an playing well… that’s more than you can say for most of the 2009 draft class

Yeah, time to let the draft status thing go.
It is what it is. Either he’s helping us win or he’s not. And he is.
Watt should have gone top 10
He’s top 5 in the league next year.
Me and Matt Cassel just - you up, dog!

Points back to the fact that Crennel creates accountability among his players
Smith was pretty good when Crennel was in Cleveland…then got the ‘lazy’ lable after Crennel left. Comes to KC & plays well again under Crennel…leaves & is ‘lazy’ again.
I wouldn’t mind him and/or Shawn Rogers coming in next season….
Predictions:
I'm going to stop predicting positive things
But he's a players coach!
all of his players will be fat, lazy, and undisciplined.
If he got cut I would be all about bringing him back
He and Amon Gordon would give us superior depth on the D line for next year. Free up some draft space
There are no stupid questions just stupid people
Idiots
I am amazed on how so many fans lack facts, which i am only going to use one SHAUN SMITH WAS A FACTOR for the chiefs he pressured the quarterback several times and stuffed the runs. It is unfortunate he only had one sack but stats don’t add up to what he has done, Smith played well for KC the reason they let him go was because they didn’t want to pay him the money he asked and lets get real NO ONE wants to play for Todd Haley
