Many of us know this legendary rock group's hits, and today, we'll look at some of their songs and lyrics to compare what we've already done and where our beloved Chiefs may go with our pending coaching decisions.
Let's do the rockstar jump after the jump!
"Back in RAC"
-I personally like the hire. For once, our team may actually have a coach that commands everyone's respect. Look no further than reports of "RAC" condemning TJ 2.0 in front of the entire team. In my opinion, one of Haley's biggest problems was playing favorites. Had he not been buddy buddy with TJ, Palko, etc, he may very well still be our HC. Players in the NFL need a coach that they can respect. It was very clear that Haley had started to lose the team (especially after so many butt kickings).
P.S. Romeo says after that awful "Rack City" wrap song, "Nobody's gonna get me on another rap!"
"Who Made Hue"
-I know there are many who have suggested that Hue Jackson would be a good hire for our OC position. However, I disagree. I feel that his attitude would be a cancer in our locker room and among the other coaches. Personally, I don't think he's all that great. The team was 8-8 with him as OC, and they were 8-8 with him as HC. It's not really that impressive when you think about it. For me, I say no to Hue. I'd be happy to be wrong (which has happened several times) if we hired him and won a Super Bowl, but I just don't think his attitude would fit the "Patriot Way." I'm guessing they'll hire an OC that fits that mold instead of Jackson.
"Gibbsen the Dog a Bone"
-I think we'll end up filling the DC position from within the organization because I think Romeo will end up having a major handle on the defense still...maybe even still calling plays for the D. If it aint broke, don't fix it. Therefore, I'm guessing our Chiefs promote from within, specifically, Gary Gibbs (or Emmitt, but I couldn't find a song to rhyme with his name). :)
Either way, we all know It's a Long Way to the Top, but with R.A.C., a new OC to bring High Voltage to our offense, and maybe Hunt and Pioli changing the team's mantra from Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap to Chase the Ace, then we'll be Back in Business.
I could've gone way more in depth with this, but it's almost time for me to leave "work."
God bless and Go Chiefs!
P.S. I'm not an AC/DC fan...just having some fun!
