Al Saunders: Our next offensive coordinator?
With Hue Jackson getting fired today, and his assertion that McKenzie wants to "Clean House" in Oakland, do we look at bringing Al Saunders back to KC as the Offensive Coordinator?

I would bring him back in a heartbeat.
We have 3 receivers that would do well in that offense. Saunders used the TE very well so I could see Moeaki becoming a star in that offense. Would need another back to go along with Charles though.
Plus, I think Cassel would do better in that kind of offense since he can’t go through progressions and find an open receiver. (and yes, I know you have progressions in that offense, just see him doing better throwing to a spot and not waiting and waiting and waiting for the reciever to become wide open)

His O is crazy complicated
Can cassel handle it? NO. Orton? Maybe
Uhhh...I hate looking at the 1983 Draft and seeing 2 HOF'ers picked after our washed up QB pick.
Since when has Cassel been thought of as an unintelligent QB, who can't learn a playbook?
Just because he might not be the QBOTF, doesn’t mean he is completely inaddequate.
In other words, don’t hate just to hate, have some facts to back it up
Such as: Happy Feet, and a tendancy to lock in on a WR
Cassel isn't stupid, I think he is a fairly smart QB
Hell, he tends to have the most problems when he has time to think. He always does better in the hurry up or 2-minute drills.
Cassel’s problem is his ability to read defenses and going through his progressions. Also, his accuracy is hit and miss. Saunder’s offense is complicated but not as much as say Martz version was.

Well both handled McDouche's complicated O

Yes please.
He has a great resume with less that elite QB talent.

I don't see us changing offensive schemes drastically
And that’s what this would be. I’d guess we stay in the same basic system whomever we hire-continuity being the key phrase around here
