Seahawks potentially listening to trade offers on Aaron Curry?
Not sure this means anything for us in KC going forward, more a reminder of what's going on in Curry's career considering he was such a popular pick around here a couple years ago.

I'd take a flyer on him for a 5th rounder.
I’m sure they want much more but the guy hasn’t done much. That said, he is still really young and could still become something. He just hasn’t had a whole lot of great coaching up there in Seattle. He could blossom under the right coach.

5th rounder as said above
Maybe a 5th and our extra 7th if they are being stingy

I wanted him when he came out
Makes you wonder how many of these “guarantee picks” really are guaranteed..
Also, I’d still give a third for the guy in a heartbeat, possibly as much as a third and a fifth
Yeah, the draft is still always a crap shoot.
Nothing guaranteed.
Just tens of millions of dollars being spent on best-educated-guesses and hoping for the best results.
Keeps it exciting, though.
The Chiefs and I have mutually agreed on this decision and although I look forward to continuing my career, I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Kansas City.
A 3rd is too much IMO
If players like Ginn went for a 5th or Holmes went for a 5th.. and then dealing with Curry’s contract… a 5 and possible another low round pick in 2013 depending on play

Imagine what Romeo could do with a guy that talented
He would deffinately be worth taking a look at but the only spot he could upgrade would be Belcher’s, and I don’t think he’s that type of player. He would be more of a DJ type, when in reality what need is the Burfict type.
Man, Burfict would be friggin' dreamy.
Him and a solid legitimate long term solution at NT and we’d be set on D – maybe being able to upgrade FS if Lewis can’t tackle more consistently / doesn’t grow out of the rookie mistakes.
Then it’s on to getting quality depth!

Actually(and I'm wrong about him too according to fans)
Curry has played well against the run, not so great at getting at the QB nor in coverage. Does sound like a SILB, sounds just like Siler who we have and doesn’t come with such a huge contract

His contract probably is a little.

I know that Pioli
hates to trade draft picks, but at least with Curry you have some NFL film.If Romeo thinks he has what it takes & he can bring it out of him then I believe Pioli would try to make the trade.
John Soellner
I wonder what the knock is on Curry?
Is he just legitimately underperforming on his own?
Is there something scheme-related that doesn’t match up with his skill set?
Could D Line play factor in? Seattle has Mebane and ????
Lot of unknowns, for my part. I definitely liked him coming out of college, but haven’t kept up a lot since he’s been draft. Really only kept up with Mebane more than anything out of Seattle. May be time to do some research.

I think it's a combination of things but
a big factor seems to be that he was drafted by the previous regime and doesn’t really fit the schemes being employed by Carroll et al. Not being a Carroll draftee hurts his value in Seattle quite a bit. They’re not actively shopping him at the moment but they’re at least open to offers.
Bask in the glory that is Kwame Harris. Poor Alex...
