Good news, Kansas City Chiefs fans. Eric Berry had surgery in Florida for his torn ACL this morning and he tweets that all went well.

Surgery was straight. Really appreciate everyone's prayers. Doc was kinda freaked out cuz he found out I bleed orange. forgot to tell him.

Bleeding orange sounds like a reference to Berry's Tennessee Vols but he explains the formula like this: "red+yellow=orange=vols=chiefs."

The year-long recovery process starts....now.
