AFC West Standings: Chiefs Holding Down The Cellar

Stay connected for news and updates

Another edition of our weekly look at the AFC West standings. Luckily, it's early in the season so the Kansas City Chiefs aren't that far behind.

Here's where the AFC West stands right now:

1. San Diego Chargers (1-1): The Chargers lost to the New England Patriots last week, which you can't really blame them for considering QB Tom Brady has gone for 940 passing yards in two weeks. They have a tough opponent this week -- the Chiefs.

2. Oakland Raiders (1-1): All is well in the world again. The Raiders blow a big lead against the Buffalo Bills and lose the game. They play the New York Jets and Patriots in back-to-back games coming up.

3. Denver Broncos (1-1): Dang, even the Broncos are ahead of the Chiefs? They beat the Cincinnati Bengals this week but go on the road for the next two weeks.

4. Kansas City Chiefs (0-2). Sigh...
