Chiefs cornerback Brandon Flowers agreed to terms last week on a new five-year contract, and after Sunday’s loss in Detroit, he said it was a relief to know that he’ll remain in Kansas City for at least half a decade.

“It feels good just knowing I’m secure with the Chiefs,” said Flowers, a fourth-year cornerback. “When you come into that final year of your contract, you don’t know where you’ll end up at, where; are the Chiefs going to keep you or will you end up in a whole other city? I want to spend my career here. We made it happen.”

Flowers, who was involved in a scuffle in the first quarter with Detroit’s Titus Young, confirmed that his contract is worth a maximum of $50 million over the next five seasons. (22 Million Guaranteed) Link

How well has he performed to date and by the way how has our other Chiefs Cornerback done?

The Chiefs two Brandons have different skill sets and seem to complement each other. A very nice tandem, I hope the Chiefs sew together for many more years to come.
