The Kansas City Chiefs will work out a bunch of players throughout the season and we'll hear about some, and won't hear about a lot of others. One name that's gotten out there is defensive lineman Gerard Warren.
Several reporters, including Adam Caplan and Aaron Wilson, are reporting that Warren worked out for the Chiefs late last week.
We brought his name up last week when the Patriots announced his release. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns a decade ago and spent time with the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos.
Last season, he played with the Patriots last season starting 10 games at defensive end and nose tackle. I would say the Chiefs defensive line hasn't looked very good so this makes sense but neither has any other position group so I guess anyone makes sense at this point.
The Chiefs do have an open roster spot right now so we'll see if Warren's workout made an impression on them.
