Shell Shocked!!!

WOW, what happened? A fine young team on the upswing lays 2 eggs in a row and the coach looks like a deer caught in the headlights. Haley looks bad in the presser; scared is an understatement, bewildered with a look in his eyes that I never saw before from him. He was almost speechless, searching for words from a never had before experience. Frank Boal, from a local KC sports news segment said that Haley and Pioli have had issues since late last year and Pioli has not gotten the players for Haley's wish list, either in the draft or FA. He went on to say that the Baldwin pick was all Pioli as Haley had other positions of need.

Unsaid was the Cassell addition which may have been all Pioli and without the Coach's approval. Seems that the biggest byline to come from this weeks blowout loss is the rift in the teams management. There may actually be something to this, think back to Charlie and Chan. For the most part, I have admired what Haley has done for this team. Buuuut, if there is truly a rift in the management of this club, it may be responsible for the teams play. Players are people and tuned in to the interactions around them. Remember Haley was a golf pro before becoming a NFL assistant.  If Haley is in Pioli's doghouse then the players may not be giving their full effort for the coach.

Cowher, Crennel and Gruden have been mentioned in some posts around here as some are calling for Haley's dismissal. Mayhap it be Jim Zorn, another former head coach and player who is now on the roster. Personally I have the idea RAC is happy being out of the spotlight in the DC position after being the man in Cleveland. Is there any creedence to this rift? Stay tuned and perhaps this all gets worked out soon.

Before I close, to all you fair weather fans, our team is only ONE game behind in our division. It ain't over yet.           Go Chief's!!!!
