Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles was just injured. You read that right -- injured. We have no idea if this is serious or if it's not but, when you're talking about arguably the most dynamic player in the league getting hurt, it's worrisome no matter how serious it is.
Charles was running out of bounds down the right sideline and took a big stride as he put his left knee on the strip they put on the sidelines to indicate a first down. He took another two steps tumbling down and fell into the Lions mascot.
His knee appeared to buckle and I have no idea what that means.
Charles was carted off the field and appeared to be in a lot of pain throughout the process of the trainers tending to him.
Let's hope for the best.
