Last year Todd Haley took the Kansas City Chiefs to a division crown picking up a couple of coach of the year awards along the way and now, just one offseason later, some people think he's firmly on the hot seat.
ESPN's Adam Schefter was asked on Sunday NFL Countdown which coach needs a win the most and he said.....Todd Haley.
Todd Haley in Kansas City. I think most people around the league believe that that's the most volatile situation out there. It reared itself during the offseason behind closed doors and it could come up again at any moment. It bears watching that one of the coaches on the bench is Romeo Crennel.
It's an odd situation, considering all Haley did last year, but this is a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately league, as Haley noted to Kent Babb last week, and as Sam Mellinger wrote about this morning.
The easy to way to move past all of this?
Beat the Lions.
