Ok, I admit we lost to the Bills....We lost our first home game of the season....everyone says Todd Haley sucks...all of them say Matt Cassel sucks....All the "experts" who commentate have painted the season black and have prepared our cemetery plot for the end of times, cause they have a job on TV and Radio, so they cant be wrong.
But, always remember this, I have stuck with this team through the worst of times before and by no means is this the worst of times. Go ahead and run to jump on another teams bandwagon, it doesn't bother me. Or stick around and wait till someone tells you, hey you were right about this guy or that guy after all, cause you are also an expert. Why you are not getting rich with your predictions in Vegas still intrigues me.
See me and the Chiefs got one thing in common. We are inseparable, and when its not OK to be a fan is when I smile the biggest. :)

Go Chiefs!

It can only get better from here.

If someone has the ability to just switch their fanhood to a different team then they shouldnt be Chiefs fans anyway. To me, the Chiefs are like my wife..Sure she talks too much sometimes and doesnt always perform the way I want her to, but she’s hot and funny and damnit I love her!

Agreed

I didn’t get to watch the game yesterday due to work…but like you I’ve been a fan through thick and thin…I’m still rooting for them to win no matter what. I get my fair share of smack talk being outside of MO…but will keep rooting for them.

Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem.

I take pride in knowing that nobody can ever call me a bandwagon fan..

I’m w/my teams through the good and the bad…And being a fan of the Chiefs, Royals and Tigers I have had a fair share of many bad years but I stick w/them through it all.

I agree

I was told yesterday that it was very respectable how I always stick with the Chiefs and the Royals no matter what. I think that it was a compliment. aha

There are still a lot of good players on this team. All is not lost. The NFL is full of injuries and, I hate using the word, parody. We had a lot go our way last year. So far nothing has gone our way this year. Now we get to find out what kind of team we really have.

Watched all of the 08 season

Watched all of the 09 season
I’ll be here for 2011. I won’t be happy, but I’ll be here.
My biggest hopes for the season is just individual performance, especially from our rookie class. We may not have the talent we thought we had to take on this schedule but we can always get better than we were yesterday.

I got so excited seeing your name in the fanshot section Lanier!

Glad you decided to show up today with this…

I am saying we will see a TON more injuries across the league...

For all we know Stafford and Suh could get hurt in the first quarter next week… should the Lions give up..NO! Should we give up because of our losses? Hell NO! I am pissed about the preparedness of our team…the gameplan..the execution…the play calling…and for God sakes the decision to keep some of the players we have….However I will not sit here and hope we lose games to get a better QB!! I have to admit my expectations have dropped even more today…I went from 8-8…to 6-10…and now 2-3 wins…but I can still hope for more! You never know what could happen next week. GO CHIEFS!

SIg was too long..had to delete it.

If you'd paid for my season tickets while Pioli is running the show with Haley and Cassel

I’d paid for your season tixs in the years after and every year they start winning playoff games.

Kansas City Chiefs will be the dark horse to make the playoffs in 2010

I am a huge fan but,

bitching about perceived problems is part of being a FAN…

Should a head coach making millions ever say “I did not have the team ready”? If the coach does not have them ready to play, then something is wrong!!

Should a head coach ever say “everyone else will have to raise their game” when a major player gets injured for the year? If players aren’t playing their best on every play, then something is wrong!!

If by wanting your team to play their best you complain about obvious problems that should have been addressed by now means you have jumped off the bandwagon then something is wrong with your thinking.

Been waiting 40+ years for another SB and 17 years for a playoff win

I’ll be around. But, I reserve the right to criticize our team given the time I’ve spent waiting.

I sure won’t sit back for another “5 year plan” and 20 years goes by without complaining….that’s our Chiefs given right.

I also won’t sit back and take the proverbial “we’re getting better” cliche that all of us see isn’t the case year in and year out.

And I sure the hell am not going to hold back my preseason comments stating this team was ill-prepared for the regular season (and yes, I got plenty of grief from plenty of people).

Listen...

I love the Chiefs. I live in Buffalo Bills country and have been a Chiefs fan since the age of 7. I’ve never seen them win a playoff game, or have a great season after going to the playoffs the year before. I still wear my Chiefs t-shirt, watch, and cap during every game.

That being said…I have an issue with your comments.

I feel you are saying that fans who get angry when times get tough, then we are all considered bandwagoners. I disagree. We expect a lot out of this team. Scoring 10 points in two games is hideous. I suppose it wouldn’t be so bad if they only gave up 9, but they gave up 89. It’s embarrassing. It’s not okay to put this product out.
Are you REALLY smiling the biggest right now, after these two games? Wouldn’t you smile the biggest when they win games..and continue to win games?

I will always love the Chiefs. But I’m pissed. This is not okay. I love your dedication and passion for the Chiefs. But get real. It’s okay to be angry.

I appreciate what you are saying

I dont have a problem with anyone getting angry ’cause Im pissed also right now. I may have not been as clear as I should have been on the bandwagonners, and I certainly dont consider you one. You made very good points and I dont take issue with them. :)

Winning begins with Attitude - Haley and Pioli will be winners in KC!

I'll forever be a Chiefs fan! Only God himself could take that away from me, but when I get to my great reward, I'll rejoin two bigger fans, my Mom and Dad.
