The day after the debacle at Arrowhead leaves us pondering the state of this team. After getting thrashed, much like the game in Dago last year, a question has risen. Is there dissension within this team as the right guys are not playing, especially as the organization keeps harping on they are going to play whoever gives us the best chance to win? I have been harping on 2 players for over a year, and think they need replaced forthwith to give the team the best chance to win.

Our right tackle, BRich, has to go to the bench. Walter football agrees as they said in their picks section that he is the WORST starting O-lineman in the NFL. Yes our FA pickup was nursing a sore knee, but we need to do something to get a competent player in this position. To Pioli and Haley  "Come on Man!!!" quit trying to snow us with this talk of the right 53 when you keep putting this subpar player in the lineup.
Next, is Belcher, who has not shown any improvement since he was put into the starting lineup. He doesn't have any linebacker instincts and is not the answer in the long term, let alone now. Another "Come on man!!!" to Todd and Scott. However, DW has shown several times that he can play and should be given the opportunity. He is tough, a good tackler, which by the way this team hasn't shown this year.

Am I overreacting to this loss? Perhaps, but I have played on a team which had an second stringer starting for some reason, the AD's son, and we knew we were hamstrung before the game started. The lousy tackling makes me question if this team is questioning the leaderships assertion of playing the right 53. What is clear is DeMarrio's prowess as a tackler is being under utilized on a team in dire need of an inside LB's ability to make plays. Ditto for the RT position. Sure, both Siler, on the IR, and Gaither with a knee might give us the needed abilities we need, but this teams depth at these positions need addresses sooner rather than later. If we want to field a winning team we have to get this fixed.

Enough of the happy horseshit they keep peddling about the right 53, play the guys who can play, develop the guys in practice until they show they can play in the league. This is year 3 and to have these 2 positions manned in this manner is pure folly for having a winning team. Thanks for listening to my rant and rave, Go Chief's!
