Chiefs vs. Bills: The Closing Line
Good morning and welcome to the Closing Line for Week 1! Another season begins and here's to a happy, healthy, and successful season for our beloved Chiefs and all of us here at Arrowhead Pride.
Every Sunday morning, I will recap the final lines from Vegas, update any fantasy injuries, and provide my gameday selections for you. Since I am ready for this game to get started right now, let's just get going with the first edition of the Closing Line.
The line as of 10:00 Arrowhead Time sits at Kansas City -4.5 and the Over/Under is at 40. This is the most prevalent line in both Vegas and offshore. This is a slight dip from the 5.5 it was at yesterday so there has been some late money coming in on Buffalo. I don't think it is something to worry about and I think this is a very advantageous line for Chiefs backers.
Steve_in_RI's Chief Selection:
Kansas City -4.5 for a medium wager (Basically whatever an average wager is for you, if you wager)
Fantasy Updates:
Here are the latest fantasy updates for some of the players listed on injury reports. (Anything listed at Questionable or Doubtful should cause you to err on the side of caution and sit that player)
Daniel Thomas : Questionable
Marion Barber: Out (Kahlil Bell will server as the Bears #2)
Arian Foster: Questionable and unlikely to play
Austin Collie: Questionable
Sidney Rice: Doubtful
Kevin Boss: OUT (Brandon Myers will start at TE)
There are plenty of other injuries, but just guys that I did not think you would have in your lineup (see: Louis Murphy).
Gameday Selections:
Every Sunday I will let you know where my money is going and my head to head picks can be seen at the AP Group at Beat the Insiders. This what I am on today:
Kansas City -4.5
Tennessee PICK
Tampa Bay -1
St. Louis +4
Washington +3
That about does it for the Closing Line. This piece will evolve as the season goes on but I am quite excited and would like to get my house prepared for the game! So until next time, GO CHIEFS!

I have Stl to win out right.
Also like Oak to beat Den, and Wash to beat NYG

You're a brave man because I would never bet on the Raiders. Just never know what team will show up.
Also a couple of Raider notes:
1. They haven’t won in week one since 2002.
2. They have lost their last 11 nationally broadcasted primetime games.
I hope for your sake(and your wallets) they win.

I said I picked them to win.
I am smart enough not to bet on it. :)
