Hey Arrowhead Pride What's up with you guys this evening? I just returned home from a fishing trip with my dad and I am very tired and kinda bored waiting for the football game tomorrow. I really don't have a college football team that I follow......so I am not very interested in that. So, what interesting things did I miss this this week football wise? Anything interesting? I also enjoy fishing stories too..... If you have any good ones to tell that would be good too......... Or you could talk about anything you want. I thought I would start things off and tell you a Lady Chief fishing story.............
As a kid, my parents took me on a lot of trips to some very interesting places. Most of them involved fishing and camping. I have been to Canada, Western United States and my home away from home Minnesota. ( Yes, MN I have been to Brainerd) Just don't visit wearing a REAL MEN WEAR RED sweatshirt Viking fans are still a little sore about that! Well, anyway on to my story.
One summer eons ago I took a camping with my parents to Yellowstone National Park. I was just learning how to fly- fish and I was not very good I was very, very bad. I went fishing with my Dad on the Firehole River. My Dad had waders I did not and the bank was muddy and warm. And I thought to my self why was that? I found out later. I wasn't catching squat so, I started messing around the bank and I saw steam coming out of the ground. Geysers! They are warm by the way and no I didn't step in one. But I had mud all over my legs and biting flies too and my dad tells me while he is smiling watch for buffalo!! I gave him a really funny look because you see buffalo really like the color red! and I was wearing a red t-shirt at the time. Sorry guys it wasn't a CHIEFS t-shirt!
