O/T

I was listening to the Haley presser and it said something that caught my attention. When speaking about the RB’s he said that they are a very unselfish group and they wanna be part in the Chiefs being a GREAT team. For Haley to move past saying trying to be a GOOD team, to being a great team says a lot.

That is good to hear

and speaks volumes about what Haley sees with the team

i thought the same thing when i heard that.

haley is very careful with his choices of words, also. so i find this interesting.

he does seem to have a little bit lighter, more chipper attitude this year, even despite the lockout.

if rhymes were valiums, i'd be comfortably numb

I like Haley he keeps it real. Even up to playoffs he refused to say this was a good team

meanwhile Hue Jackson is out in Oakland and apparently he has revived the careers of the 72 Dolphins and they will be going ot the ships this year… I have never heard a head coach hype a crappy team so much… Well, hype ANY team so much

Ever listened to Rex Ryan?

Rex Ryan

I know a lot of people hate him. I really like him because he is a players coach, and he takes the pressure off the players so they can just play and puts it all on himself. Oh, and he backs it up. I can’t stand the Jets though.

If I was a player I would love to play for Rex Ryan

yeah he talks trash but its never mean spirited its all fun pep rally type talk that brings the fun back into the game. Something alot of players and fans have forgotten football is supposed to be fun to play and to watch

by slackator on Aug 9, 2011 5:42 PM CDT up reply actions

yeah one of the many reasons why haley is my type of coach

I cant stand the hype job, these coaches should never be happy with what they have unless they win it all. look at george seifert, that man didnt crack a smile til after the darn super bowl was over, and it was probably just to pass a lil gas.

Hes tough, but fair. Ive also notice that his pressers have been much more positive, hes feeling good about where this team is headed. this isnt like when he gave the colquitt answer as our best player, because quite frankly at that time the roster was darn ugly, and players who may be producing now, werent then, or were in a mediocre fashion.

no clue why jackson thinks its smart to feed the ego in oakland.

as for the ryan’s, yeah ive said rex shouldnt be claiming he walks the walk til he wins one, and yeah he did win one as an assistant, but he acts like as a head coach, hes the best in the world, and his team is the best. he also goes out of his way to say he wont wish a guy well because he went to play elsewhere. it speaks volumes about his character, and why I would play for Bill as well over Rex.

Nope…not even then…well, not if you want to repeat. McCarthy chewed the Packers’ offense a new one this week in training camp.

This is awesome!

I was really worried when they signed that new DT. Gordon, I think?

Break out year

Dorsey is going to be a dominant force this year as long as he stays healthy. I feel like we might finally be able to get some pressure on quarterbacks with just our d line, which would be fantastic.

This is great news

With a three deep rotation of realistic NT’s next to him I expect to see Dorsey come into his own this year. I think T-Jax will make a lot of us smile this year as well.
