I remember on one occasion sitting down, turning on the game, and thinking, "I will not enjoy this. I will sit here and watch the entire thing, and I will not see a single thing that is any good. I am not going to like any of it. I am going to hate it all." I was right. And I sat there and watched it anyway, because that is what sports to do people, and because the Chiefs were a part of me.
