One of the more interesting wrinkles to the start of the Kansas City Chiefs 2011 training camp was the absence of tight end Tony Moeaki. There were no reports from anyone that the second-year player out of Iowa had an injury or that he would be missing any training camp.
Joel calmed our fears a bit back on July 29th when he wrote that Moeaki's injury wasn't serious and that he was on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list as a precaution.
Josh Looney just tweeted out that after just over a week of hanging around the practice field in St. Joe, not participating in drills, Tony Moeaki has been removed from the PUP list and the second-year tight end is eligible to practice with the team.
So, the short lived "Is Tony Moeaki injured?" saga is quickly over. He will be practicing with the team from here on out.
