Haley said McClain was brought in with knowledge he would be the #Chiefs fullback first

Exactly what I thought happened.

well of course
JC is the main running back, and then you have LeRon to spell him. Jones is done and McCluster is too little for short yardage downs
I don't think Jones is done.
He may not be that good, but I expect we’ll see him get a lot of carries.
PLEASE,
Don’t mention that name! (2.7, if you will)

Ha!
I was once fired from a job two days after I waited on Matt Cassel and his wife Lauren Killian. Totally my AP moment to remember. Unfortunately also one of my stupidest moments.

I thought Jones would be gone too after this signing
but I think McClain would benefit GREATLY from being around TJ for a year
If Chiefs keep McClain primarily as FB
That will keep his price tag down. Which then will allow us to sign him to another good contract next year, maybe for multiple years, to be the stud back that shares carries with Charles…
Chiefs
Royals
Blues
Tigers
If next year's free agency is anything like this year's
I don’t think we need to worry about keeping McClain’s price tag down. Outside of Carolina signing DeAngelo Williams, “big name” running backs have been dirt cheap.
Or basically
I’m keeping our real plans under wraps so we can surprise the shit out of the rest of the league. Since when does Haley ever say anything that would clue someone into our plans
"First"
As in one game? We’ll see, but LeRon McClain has made it clear he wants the ball. Either way, see ya Mike Cox. Good luck against the rookie stud and #44. And by good luck, I mean fat chance.
Because Cox could at least lay wood on a block
Castille was more of an H-back model, fair receiver and fair blocker. In the NFL fair don’t get it done.
Neither Cox or Castille could run the ball.
Having a guy to in the backfield with Cassel on passing downs is a huge security blanket, he can stay in to pick up a blitz or catch a dump pass and punish the D for sending too many.
Hold on… I’m consulting my crystal ball… I see it now… Mike Cox in a Buffalo Bills jersey.
