Last year, as the Kansas City Chiefs were on their way to losing their seventh consecutive preseason game under Todd Haley, I suggested that they really needed a victory just to get some momentum going.
They did just that winning their final preseason game against the Green Bay Packers (and they won the Super Bowl so that means the Chiefs were better, right?).
I'm sort of wondering if the Chiefs need to do the same this year.
I know, I know. I've been the one saying that preseason games don't matter. They don't. That said, it certainly wouldn't hurt things to see a W at Arrowhead before the season starts and possibly see some momentum.
I'm split on this issue. Sure, I'd love for the Chiefs to win a game, even if it's just preseason. At the same time, their performance in the preseason isn't necessarily an indicator of how they'll do in the regular season so it probably doesn't matter.
We'll decide this as we always do -- with a poll. Vote below and let us know what you think.
