How about an AP podcast?

I've always been a bit confused by these forums (since it doesn't actuelly say forum) so forgive me if this is in the wrong place.

Anyway, I just wanted to hear what people's thoughts on a AP podcast would be. I live in Denmark, which means that I don't really have access to the spoken medias that people living in KC probably have through radio mostly.

I know there is the weekly podcast on kcchiefs.com with Soren Petro, and while I think it is a great show, it is still sponsored by the organization and therefore limited in what it can do.

What I am looking for is a real fan podcast done by the Thormans I guess. What the format should be I don't know, but I think it could be an interesting idea and something I would listen too.

Thoughts, and is it something that have been considered?

We tried a couple of years back but didn't have the right equipment for it

It sounded pretty crappy.

That said, I’m up for someone starting an AP podcast. I just don’t have time to do it and neither does Joel .

Like Chris said, just time consuming. Maybe we’ll put some more thought into it. Not totally sure, to be honest.

In the mean time, Jimme, if you'd like access to Kansas City sports talk radio

both 610 and 810 let you stream their shows over the internet when they’re on. I’m also pretty sure they upload several of the segments from their shows after they’re over. As long as accessing those isn’t region locked to US listeners, you might be able to get your fix there.

Also, if you have a smartphone, each station has an app available on the Apple App Store and Android Marketplace that let’s you listen live to their shows. 810’s sucks though, unfortunately.
