Free Agency: A Game of Either Or
The tight lipped organization of Scott Pioli & Co. have added new looks and new weapons to our soon to be "competitive" team, but there are still a few free agents that would look great wearing a Kansas City Chiefs jersey this coming season. Of all the remaining free agents remaining, who would you want and why? Plead your case. If you could only go one free agent, would you rather go offense or defense and what position? I want to know everyone's take on this...
This should be interesting since Aubrayo Franklein-Stein is off the board now and wearing a Saints jersey, and Randy Moss has hung up the cleats...There are still plenty of free agents available, but a few that Chiefs Fans have begged for didn't fit the system for some reason or another. Dare I mention the phrase "Right 53", which I feel should be retired also.
So who would you add to the Kansas City Chiefs and why???

I'm hoping the McClain Train comes to KC.
Leonard Davis would be a good addition in my opinion, but it doesn’t look like we’re going to pick him up.

GO DEFENSIVE!!!
I’ll be watchin’ all 16-games of the Kansas City Chiefs with my new DirecTV package that included the NFL Ticket and I want to see our Kansas City Chiefs defense shut people down. I think our offense has made great strides through free agency, but I would like to see another offensive lineman added to our team.
I hope for McClain don’t get me wrong, but I want Chiefs’ defense to dominate!!!
Check me out on FaceBook at "K.C. Chiefs On the WarPath"
Get NFL Ticket from Direct TV for as low as $50.49/month (averaged) for 2-years and watch every Kansas City Chiefs game: http://shop.acnsatellitetv.com/02284787
And you think Osi is the missing piece needed?
I’ve said it before. I don’t like how much it would take to get him, I don’t like how much we would have to pay him once we did, I don’t like his injury history, I don’t like his age, I don’t like his attitude, and I don’t like his fit in a 3-4 defense.
Give me McClain all day.

Remember when we were all arguing over Phil Taylor or Derek Sherrod?
And it turned out we were all wrong. I’m predicting something similar here.

Baldwin was talked about before the draft got so close
Then there was talk Baldwin could drop to the 2nd, and for me Sherrod came out of no where

Right, but like you said, that was before the draft got close.
The big arguments came right before the draft and most featured Taylor and Sherrod (with Carimi or Houston splashed in there at times).

It seems to me that Ayers was mentioned a lot in those debates.
I think a lot of people thought he or Taylor would be the pick.

I remember bringing up Baldwin several times but got tired of trying to defend his comments prior to the draft

I voted for McClain
But Leonard Davis would rock, too. The versatility of playing both guard and tackle would seem to help his cause with Pioli. Since they let go of Waters, we have no real depth at guard now, as well as a need for potential upgrade, or at least depth, at tackle. O-line is a spot where I think an UDFA (Mims?) could easily make the squad if no FAs are brought in.
