So the Minnesota Vikings cut OT Bryant McKinnie today and anytime an offensive tackle with a big name is released there's a good-sized segment of Kansas City Chiefs fans -- and fans from every other fan base -- who think their team should go get him.

I can't tell you whether the Chiefs have interest in him but my initial instinct is to say no considering he reportedly came to training camp very out of shape. It's just not the right year to take on a project like that with the season only six weeks away.

We shall see though. Maybe I'm wrong.

But it's interesting watching the reaction to McKinnie's release on Twitter. I searched for Chiefs fans talking about his release and compiled a list of tweets telling the Chiefs to go out and pick him up. Check it out:
