Hate to see a guy go down with an injury, but love how the Bronco's d-line is looking.

To those that didn't want us to sign Ty Warren because of injury concerns
there you go, I guess.

So tired of hearing this.
You can’t assume he’d have the same injury under completely different circumstances.
Not that i was a Warren proponent, but I hate that argument.

Have to give the PAts some credit.
More often than not they get rid of those guys right before they start falling apart.
The views expressed by craig in calgary do not necessarily represent the views of all Canadians.
You posted that earlier, and it still makes no sense.
There were injury concerns with Warren after last year. There just were. If we had signed him he might not have ended up missing this specific amount of time due to this specific scenario, but the fact of the matter is that he was still more susceptible to it happening. Being injury prone is a real thing.
If some team picked up Brodie Croyle and he almost immediately got hurt, would it be stupid to point out that he came in with injury concerns?
Or perhaps a better example – what if Gaither spends another year on IR due to his back? Maybe that wouldn’t have happened with the Raiders, but does that mean that they won’t have been justified in backing out due to their concerns over his health?

It's a judgement call. Sometimes you're right, sometimes you're wrong.
In Warren’s case, those worried about injuries, it would appear, were right.
The other big difference between Warren and guys like Gaither or Brodie? He was a lot more expensive. Taking flyers on guys with injury questions is a lot easier when they come cheap.

Again, I'm not arguing for Warren.
But nobody was right. We have no idea whether or not he’d have suffered the same injury in KC, especially with Haley protecting vets. This smacks of people just dying to say they told us so.
Of course there's no way of knowing that he'd suffer the exact same injury with a different team.
But there were concerns about his durability, particularly at that price, and now he’ll miss most or all of the season. Let’s not pretend that the two are unrelated.

I made this argument the other day
Warren doesn’t have a tricep injury history, does he? Maybe I missed that, but if he doesn’t, this is pretty much completely out of the blue, and there is no way to know if this would’ve happened if he came to KC or went elsewhere.
If he had a history of injuring a particular body part, and hurt that again, it would be a different story.
This is somewhat of a freak injury.

People made the same argument over Edwards' injury.
We dodged a bullet. Never mind that no one ever presented injury concerns over Edwards beforehand.
This is one of the reasons that the Chiefs don't overpay veterans with injury concerns.
I know some of you thought not signing Ty Warren was the biggest mistake in the world, but this also, is one of the reasons why the Chiefs didn’t pay him over $10 Million for two seasons to come to KC.
Scott Pioli knows what he is doing. Go Chiefs!!!
meh...

Did someone say "Run the ball!"
Looks like even Thomas Jones might be able to crack 4 yards a carry against them. (Joke).
Tebow will heal him
This is my signature line. It is full of awesome and win.
