Good Morning, Rob here at Fort Riley with my thoughts of being a Chiefs fan over the last 30 years. I Joined the US Army the same year we drafted Derrick Thomas and last year I retired after 22 years of service and through it all I was always did my best to see or listen to (thanks Mitch and Len) every game I possibly could (watching the football on the little field on yahoo hitting refresh ever 5 seconds so I wouldn’t miss anything).
Please share your memories of our Chiefs through the years, Show your Arrowhead Pride and tell us how it is, why you are or are not the best fan the Chiefs could ever have? Did you Cry like me when The Kicker Who Shall Not Be Named missed all three field goal attempts when the Chiefs had Home field advantage thoughout the fraking playoffs?
This will be very interesting to see what everyone says, as I know it will bring up happy and painful memories but thats all about being a fan of our beloved Kansas City Chiefs.
The creation of the “Seattle Rule” anyone remember this one? If I remember correctly Marcus Allen had just been tackled he got up leaving the football on the turf, the whistled had never blown and a seattle player picked it up and ran down the field for a touchdown, I do not remember if we won that game or not but Marty made the rule that our players would always hand the ball to a referee after a play!
