The fan experience at camp sucks
compared to River Falls. The players in group drills are much further away (the runningbacks were close, I do admit), the team and contact portions of practice were tucked away on the furthest field, and the bleachers are lower. The corporatist aspects of it sucked, too. The defense was largely invisible being a football field away. I can't see much reason to come back, or to recommend others to go.

You know there are bleachers
on both sides of the field right? You can also walk around the entire field (almost). The only thing that really sucks is not having shading in the bleachers.
I don't think there are bleachers on both sides of the field anymore
The lack of shade is unbearable at times.

Yeah, there are only bleachers on three sides of the field this year.
The south, east and west sides. Maybe we can get some kind of tax levy to a get a retractable roof out there next year for the seats. ; )
Oh wow
I had the opposite experience. I’ve gone twice now and brought non-Chiefs-fan friends and we all had a blast.
I would recommend training camp for everyone (but mostly Chiefs fans).
You think it's coincidence that I bleed red?
I wish I could go.
It is too far. I think I would be getting divorced if I spent our vacation fund on going to KC to watch a football practice. I am very jealous of everyone who lives close enough to enjoy games and training camps on a regular basis.
