I thought this was interesting. Matt Birch over at Gang Green Nation talks about Mike Westhoff's (S/T coordinator for NYJ) new strategy / philosophy for kickoff returns. I thought this was interesting because we all normally hear so much info on the O & D sides of the ball and very little about 'Teams. So I usually snatch up any little tidbit that I can to learn a little bit more about it. This seams pretty simple, and logical. It makes me wonder if we won't see more coaches following suit. They've just seen a radical change in the rules that alters more of the ways that teams handle their special teams, everything from formations to personelle decisions. So, I would think the entire league is probably looking for help in refining their strategy a little bit. Thoughts?
