Tampa Bay Bucs Fans Sound Like Kansas City Chiefs Fans
We're almost done with our series of questions with SB Nation's Bucs Nation to prepare for tonight's game. If you missed it. we talked about the Chiefs offense against the Bucs defense and the Chiefs defense against the Bucs offense, as well as some Josh Freeman talk.
What I've learned throughout this is that the Bucs and Chiefs are pretty damn similar teams. The Bucs won 10 games last year and their 2010 season was just like the Chiefs but they played in a better division so no playoff spot. Josh Freeman put up numbers like QB Matt Cassel. The rookies were a major part of their success.
There are a lot of similarities. So I asked Bucs Nation to sum up their season and predict how it will go in just a few sentences.
This season I see the Bucs progressing as a team and playing better than last year, but a tougher schedule will keep that progress from showing up in the win column. While the offense should be more or less the same, the defense should have three rookie starters which will likely hurt them a little. Overall, I'll say the Bucs will win 9 games and with a little bit of luck that would mean winning a Wild Card playoff spot.
That first sentence...you could replace it with Chiefs and you've heard it hundreds of times around Chiefs fans. KC is an up-and-coming with a major test this year with the schedule.
So let's see who wins this battle of up-and-coming teams. Like Bucs fans, I'm optimistic so I'll take the Chiefs.

i am not a big tea fan...
curiously I Really want some tea…
First of all, you throwin' too many big words at me, and because I don't understand them, I'm gonna take 'em as disrespect...
Funny you should say that...
I just got a hankerin’ for some tea, too.
Just keep on matriculatin' that ball down the field, boys.

Unfortunately for us, in the AFC winning nine games would require considerably more than “a little bit of luck” to equal winning a playoff spot.
If we go 9-7 but lose the AFC West I am almost certain we would miss the playoffs.

Ryan Succop will be the kicker for the AFC in the 2011 Pro Bowl
Two similar teams in some respects
However, our defense it quite a ways further along than theirs. No elite pass rusher, worse safety play, not nearly as deep at CB…
I love my wife, my kids, and the Chiefs. In that order. Except on game days.
and I think that unless they take some big strides this season our offense is about to be quite a ways further along than theirs

they are very close with all this young talent, and good coaching
but I think the bucs get a lot more attention. which is sort of unfair. at the same time I love the doubters because it makes it that much better. Im just hoping these recent signings can push the team over the top in those division games
Team Pioli/Haley. Decade of the Chiefs.
