Finally: NFL Preseason Schedule Starts Tonight
An actual football game will be played tonight. The 2011 NFL preseason schedule kicks off on Thursday night with give games and, while it's just preseason, it's awfully nice to be watching football in August considering our NFL lockout-filled offseason.
We've got five games this evening:
Baltimore Ravens vs. Philadelphia Eagles: Awesome matchup to kick things off. The Ravens are always good but lost quite a few players this year and the Eagles formed "The Dream Team" this offseason with guys like CB Nnamdi Asomugha.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New England Patriots: Two interesting things to watch here: QB Blaine Gabbert's first NFL start (even if it is just preseason) and the Patriots new guys like WR Chad Ochocinco and DT Albert Haynesworth, that is if they even play tonight.
Seattle Seahawks vs. San Diego Chargers: This game's on ESPN so we'll get our first look at the Chargers. People are still picking them to win the division so we'll need to keep an eye on them in this game.
Denver Broncos vs. Dallas Cowboys: Are the Broncos as bad as everyone is predicting? The first step to finding out is tonight when we'll get a healthy dose of QB Tim Tebow.
Arizona Cardinals vs. Oakland Raiders: All three AFC West teams playing tonight and it culminates with the Raiders, who kick off at 9:00 p.m. (Arrowhead Time).
Which game are you looking forward to the most?

That is the only game I can watch..
but I will be glued to the TV watching it! Can’t wait until tomorrow!
Over / under on the Raiders winning because, well it's pre-season
Then overreacting saying that Hue Jackson is a direct descendent of Jesus and that 16-0 is not only likely, but probable because they just won a pre-season game?
The Chiefs and I have mutually agreed on this decision and although I look forward to continuing my career, I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Kansas City.
Yay!
Just because you disagree with someone/something, or they disagree with you, doesn't mean that person/act is ignorant. Please don't be ignorant of how to properly use the word ignorant!

I'm one of the Chiefs seeds that have been blown to Seattle...
So I’ll be watching Hawks beat down Chargers. The Hawks have one of the newest rosters in the league, and Coach Pete Caroll’s taking a beating by the fan base. I Look for the Hawks to try to make a statement, as well as get most of these players some game time, as 90% have never played together. Rivers has never NOT played pre-season for at least most of the first quarter. Hopefully the fired up Hawks get luck and mount River’s head above their mantle — if they don’t mount his head, maybe they can at least mount his backside and make him jumpy by the time its our turn…

We left him at Arrowhead in the 90's
Parking has priced him out of attending games.

You know, I still dream about a 12th Man flag over Arrowhead...
Yes, the Hawks have an awesomely loud stadium when they are winning, but they are so Fair-Weather up hear with their team, I just can’t relate. I have had some great Chiefs moments out here though. Was in the Hawks Team Exec Booth (connected to broadcast booths) last King dome game with Moon as our quarter back. Chefs cooking anything you wanted that wasn’t already on the buffet, retired players everywhere — trying to take my seat at the window every time I got up — talking to my wife! (I was too busy getting Len Dawson, Mitch Holtus, Jim Zorn, and Steve Largent autographs to stay in my seat). Their is an awful lot of blood shared behind the scenes between the Hawks and Chiefs. I missed getting Grigsby and Lamar’s autographs, but I got to shake Lamar’s hand. …I’m pretty much good for life!

I thought the Eagles had right of first refusal on all free agents this year.
Dream Team my ass.
Insert witty yet thought provoking phrase here.
I want to see Blaine and the Jags
I think he can take the starting job and be the best QB from this years draft, with Stanzi coming in close second (for all those Stanzi lovers).
Chiefs
Royals
Blues
Tigers
I love that the morbidly obese "coach" is so fat he's obstructing the word "Excellence."
Toby is in HR, which technically means he works for corporate, so he's really not a part of our family. Also, he's divorced, so he's really not a part of his family.

Are they showing the games on fox and cbs?
