Chiefs Fans Unite! Not that we were ever divided… We all feel the same way about Oakland, those silly donkeys, and of course Philip Rivers. I believe many of us love a quality Z-man from time to time as well.

 I have lived in Kansas City my entire life. I have put up with the shitty winters, the shitty summers, and of course our yearly tornado rampage. There has been a lot of shitty baseball thrown in there as well. However there is at least one thing about this lovely city that is not shitty.

Fall is beautiful.

Fall is wonderful.

Fall is awesome.

Fall means football.

We have gorgeous, cool, crisp, fall weather. It really is quite a satisfying transition from the fiery hell of summer, to the icy/snowy hell of winter.

 We also have Pioli and co. This man has changed the meaning of fall. To quote the movie Boiler Room, “We’re players now boys!” It’s a great time to be a Chiefs fan. We are looking more and more like real contenders, Lombardi trophy hoisting contenders, not just another “Quality” team. The AFC west is ours to win for years to come. Oakland, Tim Tebow, and the SD chokers cannot hold a candle to the foundation of winning being built here.

 Tough Schedule? Yes. Who cares, to be the best you have to beat the best. And IMO the boys in red and gold are the bestest around. 

 Football Gods, you punished us with Lin Elliot, and teased us with that who will only be mentioned by the #27. Have you finally rewarded us with a competent regime and a winning attitude? Not to mention a badass set of  Killer B’s, a stud named Jamal, and a homeless looking college golfer named Todd.
