Early this morning, Kansas City Chiefs rookie WR Jonathan Baldwin tweeted out, "I'm in a very good mood today."

Well now we know why - Baldwin inked his first contract with the Kansas City Chiefs Friday morning. 

Now, third round pick LB Justin Houston is the only Kansas City Chiefs 2011 draft pick not to have signed a contract. The other eight players have all officially inked deals. We don't know any details about Baldwin's contact but we'll report on them if they're leaked. 

Just guessing but I'd expect Justin Houston to sign pretty quickly. The way the rookies are paid this year there's little room for negotiation so it shouldn't be that difficult.

This is great news. Scott Pioli and Co. are getting contracts done quickly and he's very close to meeting his own expectation that all of the Chiefs' draft picks will report to camp quickly.
