Chiefs are largely set at all positions but OT, RB, and LB
I figure the Chiefs are 3 players from their top 53. A runningback group of Charles, Jones, and McCluster could use a young veteran; maybe Battle re-ups? The Chiefs have no established depth at OT; it's unlikely the team can rely on one of their UDFAs to provide the depth they need. A veteran should at least be brought in to compete. And then, depending upon the health of Sheffield the Chiefs might want a 10th body at LB. Maybe they go with 7 D-linemen, but they've not done so since switching to a 3-4.

I'd say that were set at RB and LB
Of course any position can be upgraded but we def don’t have needs at RB and LB

they are getting close...
Most of the guys yet to be signed will be short-lived, camp fodder.
here’s my latest guess on the 53, with up-for-grabs spots in italics… not many left!
Offense (25)
(2) QB: Cassel, Stanzi
(4) RB: Charles, Jones, McCluster, Battle
(2) FB: Cox, Bannon
(5) WR: Bowe, Baldwin, Breaston, Tucker, Copper
(4) TE: Moeaki, Pope, O’Connell, Cottam (or Slate)
(3) OT: Albert, Richardson, O’Callaghan (or FA)
(3) OG: Waters, Lilja, Asamoah
(2) C: Weigmann, Hudson
Defense (25)
(2) NT: Powe, (FA)
(5) DE: Dorsey, Jackson, Gillberry, Bailey, Smith
(5) OLB: Hali, Studebaker, Sheffield, Houston, Miller
(4) ILB: DJ, Belcher, Cory Greenwood, Micah Johnson
(4) S: Berry, Lewis, Washington, McGraw
(5) CB: Flowers, Carr, Arenas, Daniels, Brown
Specialists (3): Succop, Colquitt, Gafford
to summarize the open jobs I see:
RB (Battle, McClain)
FB (McClain, Cox)
TE (Pope, Cottam, Slate, Gantt)
OT (O’Call or FA)
ILB (Mays, Micah or FA)
and of course #1 NT (Franklin?)
ALL of them are “depth” positions, other than NT… so we’re not desperate for any other starters, i don’t think
Must say that roster is looking very smexy
is DW gone or just not listed?

As of right now he is the best WILB back up we got
Mays can go quickly, do want to see what Micah can do though

of course
I am hoping Greenwood and Johnson step up into those backup roles this year.
I do admit it’s somewhat of a long-shot, though
Admittly I've seen like nothing of Greenwood so he would go before DW IMO
