Morning Folks. 2 Quick notes: 1) Sorry I missed my post time on Tuesday. One of my store managers (of 15 years) was taken to the hospital with a soccer ball sized tumor on Sunday. I've spent most the week covering her store and spending time with her at the hospital. She went through surgery yesterday, and they found NO cancerous tissue at all. She's on the road to recovery now and should be back in a few weeks. 2) While driving to the hospital I was listening to an interview with Pat Williams on Sirius NFL Radio. Pat Williams is part of the Williams wall for the Vikings defensive line. His contract is up in Minnesota and they were asking him if he plans on retiring. He said that he thinks he has 1 or 2 more years left in him, but that he wants to play for a winner. He mentioned that he doesn't want to stay in Minnesota if they are going to go with a rookie QB this season. Pat Williams plays most of his snaps as a zero technique in Minnesota (Nose Tackle). When asked directly where he might like to go if he parts with Minnesota he mentioned 3 teams; but the FIRST team he mentioned was Kansas City. He said KC needed a run stuffer in the middle and he could fill that role. Nothing else to report, just thought that might start some discussion. Pat WIlliams as a NT to train Powe for a year or 2? Thoughts?
