Which Chief's player makes the JUMP and becomes Heroes?

This post is derived from hmills110, who suggested in a comment from a post recently, what we could see is a player or two take that next step into becoming an elite player which would helps propel this team into becoming a champion. Instead of trolling the FA's, which I sure we will, that we have a few players in house evolve into elite players like we saw last year. Last year we saw excellent play from more than one guy which helped us into a division title. Some of them received national attention and were elevated into All-Pro status.

Players like Bowe and Hali come to mind. We saw Charles and DJ step it up, as well as Carr. Guys who were drafted and finally started playing up to expectations. Cassell, whom we traded for made it to the Pro Bowl. But that was last year, what about this year? Hopefully we will not see any of these guys leave in free agency, and, AND, making a big assumption that they keep playing well or better, who else will join these guys in that heady atmosphere of becoming a hero for the team and us fans.

The good thing for us we have a plethora of guys who could really step it up and become wild cards in the rotation. Guys whose abilities have been polished with time spent learning the NFL game while riding the bench or practice squad. We even have a couple that might make the Rookie Jump and be recognized for their excellent contributions. In camp, if we have one, the LB position looks to have a great competition happening, even more so if Vrable is not resigned and appointed as the starter once again. We have several guys on the roster at the WR and TE positions which might provide a dark horse who hits the ground running and makes his name known. We have some good young talent on the O-line that may step it up and become the man at their position.

What we have my friends is talent. Any one of the players has ability or they wouldn't be here, on this team, with these coaches and management. Imagine last years team augmented by some of these guys who step it up and have to be reckoned with by the enemy team. Is this fanciful thinking? I think not, as we have proof of this happenstance from some of last years players who excelled like never before.

Off the top of my head I can rattle off a half dozen or so names; Studebaker, Walters, Sheffield, Asamoah, Moeaki, Cottam and Harris. There are others and rookies too. This is a really exciting young, talented squad and gives me much enjoyment trying to guess who does so well they have to play. Heck of a difference from the teams of yore, aint it? So what say you? Who are the players in your mind who step it up and get noticed? Who goes to the Pro Bowl this year who hasn't been to it before? Go Chief's !!!!
