PHOTOS: Matt Cassel, Todd Haley Attend American Century Championship Golf Tournament

Courtesy of Arrowhead Pride commenter PSUkegreen, we have a number of pictures of Todd Haley and Matt Cassel from the American Century Championship this week.

The word is lots of other former Kansas City Chiefs players and coaches were supposed to be in attendance: Jared Allen, Herm Edwards, Marcus Allen, Jack Del Rio and Trent Green to name a few.

I love golf, but am more interested in our local Tom Watson at the British Open.

Our Stillwell, KS. guy got a hole in one today on a par 3 and at age 61 still has the swing he had 30 years ago. He takes the club parallel on his backswing (friggin amazing at that age).

Also, he’s the nicest guy anyone would ever have the pleasure of meeting. The classiest Professional athlete that’s ever played in our area….in my opinion.

I've seen another side of Tom Watson

He’s kind of an asshole when loads of fans and cameras aren’t in his face (this is well known by many golfers). I served drinks to him once at a private party in Loch Lloyd and he was less than friendly. I was most likely drooling over his gin and tonics (no tip) when I made them since I’m a golf fanatic just as much as I am a Chiefs fan.

Whether he’s fake or not I don’t care; I still love the guy. I’d most likely be overly friendly with fans and media if I was famous.

I was once fired from a job two days after I waited on Matt Cassel and his wife Lauren Killian. Totally my AP moment to remember. Unfortunately also one of my stupidest moments.

I think so too.

I expected him to be in better shape by now, lockout or not. He said he usually packs it on during the year, so we could see an even bigger coach by year’s end.

Cassel needs a longer putter. In picture 6 it looks like he’s using a kids putter.
