WASHINGTON, DC - MARCH 11: Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt (L) and Green Bay Packers CEO Mark Murphy (R) arrive for labor talks at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service building March 11, 2011 in Washington, DC. Representatives from the National Football League (NFL) and National Football League Players' Association (NFLPA) continue to negotiate a labor dispute as a deadline looms at the end of a 7 day extension of talks. In the two and a half years we've been running approval polls for Clark Hunt, Scott Pioli and Todd Haley, we have never seen such a low rating as Mr. Hunt received in June 2011. Not only that, his 42% approval rating was the lowest rating out of all three people by nearly 25 points.
I think we can safely attribute much of that low rating to the fact that Mr. Hunt is one of several NFL owners actually doing the negotiating during this whole NFL Lockout process.
This is also due to, of course, the 2011 NFL Lockout in general and the negative perception of the owners that increasingly pervaded media coverage last month as negotiations wore on.
So, the question to you is, with the end of the 2011 NFL Lockout seemingly only weeks away, do you approve of the job Clark Hunt is doing as the Kansas City Chiefs owner?
